We are a family company with more than 100 years of history and tradition in the alcohol market. Alcoholes Montplet was founded in 1889 with the name of its founder Jaime Prunés Font. Along all these years, we have stayed faithful to the commitment of offering excellent quality products along with good service, which has made us become the leader company in ethyl alcohol distribution in Spain.

The Montplet family has developed multiple business areas related to alcohol: distribution, alcohol factories, perfume industry, liquor distillery which had very prestigious brands in the market as well as an area of solvents and chemical products which turned out to be Proquibasa, one of the main companies in distribution of chemical products at a national level.

Nowadays and in the fifth generation of the Montplet family, the specialty and main activity of Alcoholes Montplet still is the ethyl alcohol distribution to a great number of industries: perfume industry, liquor industry, pharmacy laboratories, among other many sectors. Furthermore, following the impulse to develop new business areas, we have created a laboratory for parapharmacy products.
